Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we hear most. For anything not covered here, see Safety or Contact.

Joining

Who is this site for?

A private, upscale dating community for two kinds of members: Attractive members and Successful members. You choose which one you are when you sign up, and you can change it once afterward in Settings.

Is it free?

Creating a profile, browsing and receiving messages is free for everyone. Successful member accounts need an active membership to send messages — see "Who can message whom" below.

Verification

How does photo verification work?

You submit a short verification photo, which our team compares against your profile photos to confirm it's really you. It's reviewed privately and only used to award the verified badge — it's never shown to other members. See our photo guidelines for what to submit.

Do I have to verify?

No, but it unlocks a verified badge that builds trust, and Successful member accounts need it before sending their very first message.

Roles

What's the difference between the two roles?

Attractive members bring beauty, energy and ambition to a match. Successful members are established and generous with their time, looking for a partner who matches their pace. Both fill out the same kind of profile — the language just reflects which side you're on.

Messaging

Who can message whom?

Attractive members can send messages freely, subject to a light new-account limit in their first 24 hours. Successful members need an active membership to send a message (they can always read what they receive), and must verify their photo before their first message goes out. On top of that, any member can set who's allowed to start a new conversation with them — everyone, verified members only, or members with a profile photo — in Edit profile. This never affects a conversation that's already started.

Why was my message held or rejected?

Messages that look like a deposit, gift-card, or wire-transfer request are automatically held for review — both people see a safety notice. Messages matching a hard safety violation are blocked outright. See Safety for the common patterns we watch for.

Photos and privacy

What's a private album?

Extra photos visible only to members you've individually approved. Anyone can request access from your profile; you approve or deny each request from Private album requests.

What does incognito / online status do?

"Browse anonymously" means viewing or favouriting someone's profile never shows up as coming from you. "Don't show my online status" hides the online dot and excludes you from the "online recently" filter. Both are in Edit profile.

What's the difference between hiding and blocking?

Hiding your profile removes you from browse and search for everyone, but you can still message and be messaged by people you're already talking to. Blocking is per-person — it hides you and that member from each other completely, in both directions, and ends any ability to message.

Favourites and views

What are favourites, and who can see who viewed me?

Favouriting a profile saves it and lets that member know (unless you're browsing anonymously). "Who viewed me" shows Successful members which members recently viewed their profile — a Successful member-side feature, same as the seeking.com model this follows.

Your data

Can I download my data?

Yes — Download my data gives you a single file with your account, profile, photos, favourites, notes, notifications and the messages you've sent, once every 24 hours.

How do I delete my account?

Delete account removes your profile, photos and messages right away. Your username stays reserved for 90 days before it can be reused.

Safety

What should I watch out for?

Deposit or booking-fee requests, gift cards, and pressure to move off-platform immediately are the most common scam patterns — see Safety for the full list and what to do if you spot one.
