Safety
Never pay a deposit. Never send gift cards. Anyone who asks is scamming you — report them.
Common scam patterns
- Deposit or booking-fee requests. A real match never needs you to pay anything before meeting.
- Gift cards. No legitimate request — for "verification," a "deposit," or anything else — is ever paid in gift cards.
- Pressure to move off-platform immediately. Scammers push to Telegram, WhatsApp, or a phone number right away specifically to escape our filters. Take your time.
- Too-good-to-be-true arrangements. Be skeptical of anyone offering unusually generous terms with no history or verification.
Our automated filter holds messages containing these patterns for review and shows both parties a warning. Verified members are less likely to be scammers, but verification is not a guarantee — stay alert regardless.
Meeting in person
- Video chat before meeting in person if possible.
- Meet in a public place first.
- Tell a friend where you are going and when you expect to be back.
- Keep your own transportation — don't rely on the other person for a ride.
- Trust your instincts. Leave if anything feels wrong.
Trafficking and exploitation
If you believe someone is being trafficked, coerced, or is a minor, use the Report button on their profile or message and select "Trafficking concern" or "Underage." These reports go to the top of our moderation queue and the account is hidden immediately pending review. You can also contact:
- US National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-888-373-7888 (text "HELP" to 233733)
- US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC): 1-800-843-5678
- EU: 116 000 (missing children), or your national police non-emergency line
- In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first.
Report and block
Every profile and message has a Report and Block option. Blocking hides you from that person in both directions immediately. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and underage or trafficking reports are prioritized above everything else.
Profile and photo standards
See our community guidelines and photo guidelines for what's expected of every profile — including why contact details and payment requests are never allowed in a profile or a photo.
